Which is better for my office: 3CX, Yeastar or Grandstream?
It depends on your size, budget and features. 3CX suits companies that want strong mobile apps and reporting; Yeastar P-Series is a reliable all-in-one appliance for small and mid-sized offices; Grandstream UCM is a cost-effective choice with no per-user licence for many setups. We recommend after a short survey of your needs.
Do you provide phone numbers or phone lines?
No. SNTECH is a systems integrator, not a telecom operator. Your phone lines and numbers come from your own licensed UAE operator (such as du or e&). We install and configure the PBX and connect it to your existing lines at your premises.
Can you replace our old analogue PBX?
Yes. We migrate offices from analogue and legacy PBX systems to IP PBX. Where needed we use FXO/FXS gateways so existing lines, fax machines or analogue phones keep working during and after the move.
How long does a PBX installation take?
A small office is usually installed and configured in one to two days after the survey. Larger or multi-branch systems are planned in phases so there is minimal disruption.
Do you offer support after installation?
Yes. We provide remote and on-site support and annual maintenance contracts (AMC) for your phone system, including changes, updates and troubleshooting.
What affects the cost of an IP PBX system?
The number of users and branches, the PBX platform and licence, how many IP phones, DECT handsets and headsets you need, gateways for existing analogue lines, cabling, and the support plan. After the survey we give a written quote with exact models.
Do we need a licence for the phone system?
It depends on the platform. 3CX and Yeastar are licensed by edition or plan according to users and features, while Grandstream UCM is a hardware appliance with most features included. We explain the options in plain terms before you decide.
Do you maintain and repair existing PABX systems?
Yes. We support and maintain existing office PABX and telephone systems, find faults in extensions and lines, and when an old PABX is near the end of its life we plan a step-by-step move to an IP PBX so your numbers and lines keep working.
The PBX is installed at your physical UAE premises and works with phone lines provided by your own licensed operator. SNTECH does not sell phone numbers or telecom lines.
